A question is a type of sentence, which asks for information.
Some questions require a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer.
They are called closed questions or yes-no questions.
Alternative questions need a reply connected to the question.
They offer a choice and they will contain the word ‘or’.
Remember, statements can often be turned into questions by simply adding a question mark.
